Each nanny is interviewed extensively through multiple exchanges, including a two-hour, in-person interview. Seaside Nannies checks all references submitted and all nannies are fingerprinted through a Live Scan site before they enter into a family household for an interview. Live Scan fingerprints are then submitted to California’s Department of Social Services Trustline registry.

Upon Hire, Seaside Nannies will check the chosen nanny candidate’s background by conducting a Social Security Trace, a County Criminal Investigation in each county the nanny has ever resided in, as well as their Department of Motor Vehicles record.
